Spend a few days up in
the mountains of St. Katherine in the orchard of Saad Mahmoud
and relax, enjoy the moon and stars, the silence and the beautiful
landscapes and forget all the stress and the rest of the world.
During the day it is possible to make short hikes in the in the
area (Abbas Pasha, Farsh Romana, Geziret el Shagg), accompanied
by a guide who knows all the special places. He will also be available
if you need anything during the day. |

Saad’s Orchard is
situated in Wadi Zawatiin. From the village of St. Katherine it
is a bit of a climb for ¾ of an hour up Abu Gifa. But after
reaching the top you are rewarded by a fabulous view over the village
and a nice, easy and beautiful walk for another half an hour until
you reach the orchard. Your luggage will be transported by camel
so all you have to carry is some water and snacks for the road.
There are rooms and Bedouin tents available and simple cooking and
toilet facilities. Bring your own sleeping bags. |
