Arada

The canyons of Arada are a bit off-road but certainly worthwhile visiting.

You wander through narrow sandstone canyons with amazing rock formations and colors and you walk on the Gunna plateau where you have beautiful panoramic views.

You have to be adventurous to a certain degree to walk in this area as you have to scramble up rocks and work yourself down with ropes, but the guide is always there to lend a hand.

On top of the Gunna plateau you are in a different world completely, where-ever you go you find fossil shells, proof that the Sinai was once under the sea.
