Taba  

Taba lies on the border to Israel. Taba was the last place to be handed over to Egypt by Israel (1989)

Taba is but a small settlement with a few big hotels. Taba airport lies 38 km west of Taba. Some charter companies have flights to Taba and there are 3 weekly flights from and to Cairo. Many hotel complexes are being built on the road from Taba to Nuweiba, many also lie unfinished after the Intifada.
